There are many reasons why people would require a house to be cleared, whether it is following a bereavement, preparing a property to rent or sell or clearing a collection of belongings that have been held onto and are no longer needed.
Whatever the reason, we’re here to help you when you decide it’s time to clear the property, no job is too big or too small.
You can contact us via phone, email or WhatsApp to request a quote. For a small or normal-sized clearance, a quote can be given over the phone within 10 minutes. For really large or specialist clearances, we suggest a visit to the property because seeing the clearance required means we give you an accurate quote based on your specific requirements and can evaluate how long the job will take, which can sometimes save you money.
If we do a property visit, we will take a 15-minute walk around, discuss any specific needs and build your free quote which will be confirmed verbally to you at the end of the visit. We don’t want to make you uncomfortable, so we don’t need your answer there and then, unless you want to.
All quotes whether in person, or on the phone are followed up with confirmation of the quote in writing, so you can decide in your own time.
When you decide to go with us, we will agree a date for the clearance and book you in.
If you have items that you want to keep, we recommend removing them from the property prior to the clearance date. If that isn’t possible, the best solution is to either put everything you're keeping in one area or clearly label them as “do not take”.
We will meet you or your representative at a pre agreed time to receive the keys to the property. We can also collect keys the day before or from a key safe or a trusted neighbour if that is easier for you.
Once we have the keys, we are happy for you to leave us to carry out the clearance as arranged. We are DBS checked and certified to give you comfort that your property and keys are in safe hands.
Before the job is complete we will contact you to arrange a time for you to return and take the keys back, or we will lock up and return the keys to the key safe or the neighbour upon completion.
If the job is one that will take more than one day, unless agreed otherwise, we will keep the keys so that we can continue the job the next day without disturbing you. We will ensure that the property is fully locked and secure when we leave each day.
Once complete, if you are taking the keys back we will also take that opportunity to walk around the property with you to show you everything that has been done and that it has been fully completed to your expectations. If we are not returning the keys to you, we will send you confirmation that the job is complete and send you pictures of the property.
The property will be left fully cleared as agreed, we take everything away in our vans so there will be no skips or loose items waiting to be collected. We will leave the property tidy, and we will also hoover.
All items we remove will end up either donated, reused or recycled.
We work with a zero to landfill goal, meaning that our philosophy is to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfill. We hold an upper tier waste carriers licence which allows us to dispose of any waste professionally and most importantly, legally.
You can rest assured that items that cannot be donated or reused will be disposed of professionally and will never end up being fly tipped.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, bank transfer and cash. If the clearance is under £100 we also accept contactless payment.
Reviews show our customers the quality of our work so we will send you a link to leave a review for us upon completion of the job.
Whilst there is no obligation, we would really appreciate your feedback.
